UNCG Procurement Services is excited to announce that Amazon Business is now an approved punchout catalog in SpartanMart using your UNCG PCard. This new program simplifies your purchasing process and allows you to take advantage of Amazon’s wide product selection and competitive prices. Access the Amazon Business punchout through the Jaggaer eProcurement system (SpartanMart.)

Shopping on Amazon Business is as user friendly as Amazon.com.

Scenarios

The first time you punchout to Amazon, you will be registered as a UNCG Business account user. Below are the possible scenarios you could encounter:

Scenario 1

If you do not have a current Amazon account using your uncg.edu email, your account will automatically be created by using your @uncg.edu email address associated with your purchasing user profile within SpartanMart.

Scenario 2

If you have an existing Amazon account with your @uncg.edu email address that is used only to make BUSINESS purchases on Amazon.com, you will have the option to convert your existing account and transfer any purchase history and pending orders to the central business account. Please follow the User Registration Guide Scenario 2 to complete your one-time setup.

NOTE: If you have an existing Amazon Business account with your @uncg.edu email address you will get an error message and will need to follow the steps in the FAQ Guide FIRST to de-register that account and then continue with Scenario 2 to complete setup.

Scenario 3

If your uncg.edu email address is already associated with an Amazon.com account that is used for personal and business purchases, you will have the option to create a separate account for personal orders. You will be prompted to select “Create a separate business account” and will need to choose a new, personal email address (e.g. gmail.com or hotmail.com) that is NOT tied to another Amazon account. This will move your personal purchase history to a new Amazon account associated with a non-uncg.edu email address. Your @uncg.edu email address will then become part of the central business account. Please follow the User Registration Guide Scenario 3 to complete your one-time setup.
